Collide with the Sky

Okay, so Pierce the Veil's new album is Collide with the Sky. I wanted to do my own take on it, and to me lightning definitely evokes this strong instant emotion that would collide with the sky. I wanted to do something for Caraphernelia, but unfortunately a teddy bear wasn't going to happen.

I also felt that I didn't need to create a symbol for the band itself. As a musician, I feel the music is what makes a band. So I went something that described the album. Albums describe a certain emotion and style. The lightning representing something very spontaneous yet extremely strong.

I saw the other entries didn't focus on the band for the artwork and I wanted to change it up. The members of the band are how the band got its name in the first place -_- so I wanted to emphasize the band title as well.
